Kevin McNeil scored a game-high 22 points, including 14 in the first half, as Deer Park beat Priest River 53-42 in a non-league game Friday night at Priest River.

Corey Meyers added 11 points for the Stags (6-1), who outscored the Spartans 12-5 in the third quarter to take a 12-point lead into the fourth.

J.P. Ramsey led PR (5-5) with 13 points.

Elsewhere, Riverside used balanced scoring and a big second quarter to defeat visiting Timberlake (0-10) 54-21. Kyle Lynch had nine points for the Rams (5-2). …Donny Carson scored 28 points to guide Inchelium (2-7) past visiting Sprague-Harrington 73-64. Terry Kissler had a game-high 30 points for the Falcons (2-7). … Merle Bighead scored a game-high 28 points as Lakeside (5-2) defeated the Coeur d’Alene JV 66-57 in Coeur d’Alene. … Ben Frisbie scored a game-high 19 points and Nick Fromm added 16 points and 10 rebounds as Lake City routed visiting Moses Lake 82-36. A.J. Sandford scored 13 points and Tyler Druffel added 11 as Pullman topped Naches Valley 65-33 at the SunDome Shootout in Yakima. The Greyhounds (5-1) led by 17 at the half. Pullman will play White Swan today in the final day of the tournament.

Nate Clinton scored 23 points and Andrew Prohaska added 20 as Coeur d’Alene routed Regina 82-56 at the Gillette (Wyo.) Classic. Darin Palmer added 14 points for the Vikings (7-1).

Jake Heinen scored 17 points and Luke Mathews, Taylor Vold and Marc Soelberg added 10 points each as Freeman (5-4) defeated Bonners Ferry (6-6) 58-44 in the championship game of the Greg Larson Memorial Tournament in Freeman. Derek Deitz led the Badgers with 12 points. Heinen was named tournament MVP. … In the third-place game, Tonasket built a big first-half lead and beat Liberty 51-49. Trevor Anderson scored 19 points and Lane Salsbury added 17 to lead the Lancers (4-6).

Griffon Jones scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Cheney to a 72-45 win over Wahluke at the Blackhawk Tournament in Cheney. The Blackhawks (4-2) will play Fife today at 5:45 p.m. for the championship.

Jacob Teaford scored 17 points and Ryan Schulz and Mike Matson added 14 each as Reardan (7-1) beat St. John-Endicott 71-48 at the Reardan Tournament. Warren Miller led the Eagles (4-5) with 12 points. … Also at the tournament, Wellpinit came alive in the fourth quarter and edged Chewelah 66-61. Cody Stensgar tallied a game-high 22 points for the Redskins (7-2), who outscored the Cougars (3-5) 21-8 in the fourth. Wellpinit and Reardan will play for the championship today while Chewelah and St. John-Endicott will play for third place.

Jim Maley scored 13 points and Zach St. John added eight points and eight rebounds as Rosalia defeated the Colfax JV 60-34 at the Rosalia Tournament. Bob Baskett and Garret Hartung added nine points each for the Spartans (7-2). … Also at the tournament, Ethan Patzer had a game-high 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead Kootenai (5-2) past Springdale 64-56. Nick Metlow and Joel Kohlstedt had 15 points apiece for the Chargers (7-3). The Warriors will play Rosalia today in the championship while Springdale and the Colfax JV will play for third place.

Ed Wolfe scored 21 points to lead Lake Roosevelt to a 75-21 victory over Australia at the Raider Nation Holiday Classic at Coulee Dam. The Raiders will play Lapwai today for the championship.
