New Faces Kootenai County Fire and Rescue has hired the following individuals as new administration personnel: Paul Stancyzyk as lead emergency vehicle technician, James Barker as inspector, and Jessie Morrow as bookkeeper.

Dustin Hoffman has been hired by Steven Meek Architects as an architect intern.

Moloney O’Neill has hired Nani Gonzalez as an account assistant in the commercial insurance division. Gonzalez was previously employed with Amica.

Ascentium has hired Warren Thomas as an engagement and project manager. He previously worked at SafeNet Consulting based out of Minneapolis.

The law firm of Kirkpatrick and Startzel, P.S. has hired Patrick Harwood as a principal.

Bill Northrop has been hired as the Director of Marketing and Brand Strategy at Ascentium. He previously worked at miller.whiterunkle as vice president executive creative director.

Steven Meek Architects has hired Emily Schmedding as business manager. Keith Kline has been hired by Moloney O’Neill as an account assistant in the commercial insurance division. He was previously employed by Safeco Insurance and is a graduate of Eastern Washington University.

Promotions Northwest MedStar has promoted Patty Hahn to outreach coordinator. She previously worked as a registered flight nurse for the company.

Gonzaga University has promoted the following individuals from associate to full professor: Mia Bertagnolli, Beth Cooley, Ron Large, and Joy Milos, College of Arts and Sciences; Mark Shrader, School of Business Administration; and Kimberly Weber, School of Education.

HollisterStier Laboratories has promoted Paul Wadlow to manager, SVP line No. 2. Wadlow has been with the company since 2004 and holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Western Washington University.

Genevieve L. Wimberley has been hired by Valley Obstetrics and Gynecology, P.S. as a physician assistant. She recently graduated from the University of Utah.

Gifts Triumph Composite Systems has raised $7,806 for Toys for Tots.

The Spokane Home Builders Association (SHBA) gave $37,198 to the Wishing Star Foundation Inc. For 2007, SHBA has given a total of $65,586 to various local organizations.

Elected Jon Rand of KAYU-TV and Roger Nelson of KXLY Radio Group have been elected to a two-year term on the board of directors for the Washington State Association of Broadcasters.
