Dinner to help pay medical expenses

Horizon Middle School will host a spaghetti dinner fundraiser for Eric and Brandon Stalker, who were injured in a serious car accident Jan. 16 on East 32nd Avenue.

The spaghetti dinner is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Horizon Middle School, 3915 S. Pines Road.

The school is sponsoring the event to help raise funds to cover the Stalker family’s medical expenses. Brandon is a sixth-grader at Horizon in the Central Valley School District. Eric is Brandon’s father.

A $5 donation is suggested. If you have any questions or would like to make a donation, call Shelley Moffit, dean of students, at 228-4944.

In addition, Buck’s Pizza, 13221 E. 32nd Ave., 363-2829, is helping Horizon raise money for the Stalker family. On Feb. 12, 13, and 14, the restaurant will donate 20 percent of each purchase when Horizon Middle School is mentioned.
