Great Northern League

Kevin McNeil scored a game-high 22 points and Richie Mullenburg added 13 points and 11 rebounds as Deer Park upset visiting Pullman 58-55 Friday.

Brad Rumann chipped in 14 points for the Stags (8-8, 5-5), who were 17 of 34 from the free-throw line while the Greyhounds (7-8, 6-3) were 8 of 23 from the line.

Marty Guettinger, T.C. Peterson and Justin Wood all scored 12 points to lead Pullman.

In other league action, Bryan Peterson scored 16 points and Casey Sherrill added 15 as West Valley (14-2, 10-0) snuck past host Cheney (6-10, 3-7) 60-58. Jason Frost missed a jumper at the buzzer that would have tied the game for the Blackhawks. Griffon Jones tallied a game-high 18 points and Frost and Brandon Hardie each added 11 to lead Cheney, who squandered an 11-point halftime lead. … Skyler Dumas led five players in double figures with 22 points as Colville (8-7, 4-5) topped visiting Riverside (5-11, 2-8) 92-80. Kris Wise and Jake Saxon scored 16 points apiece to lead the Rams. … Sean Bernier scored 15 points and Cary Conklin added 13 as Clarkston (6-10, 6-4) used a big fourth quarter to beat visiting Medical Lake (6-10, 3-7) 64-46. Mark Gronland tallied 22 points, Shea Leach added 18 and Donny Carson chipped in 17 to lead the Hornets.
