Feature creature: Morris

Jennifer Laruecorrespondent The Spokesman-Review

Morris was left at SCRAPS after landing in a trap on Super Bowl Sunday. Perhaps the Super Bowl festivities spooked him a bit and he ran, because he doesn’t appear to be a stray. He looks well fed. He’s well-mannered and thinks a long time before he jumps, making him a good example for younger cats. An easygoing gentle giant, a tear in his left ear is evidence Morris has had his share of scuffles.

Anyone interested in adopting this cat or other animals can visit the SCRAPS shelter at 2521 N. Flora Road, call the shelter at 477-2532 or visit www.spokanecounty.org/animal. Cats cost $55.68 to adopt, which includes a license, neutering, vaccinations, a microchip implant and a trip to the veterinarian.
