Black history event at SFCC

Spokane Falls Community College’s African and African American students share their talents and cultures during a Black History Month celebration at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the SFCC SUB Lounges A and B, Building 17, 3410 W. Fort George Wright Drive. A reception will follow in the SFCC SUB Senate Chambers (Rooms 137 and 138), also in Building 17.

Students will sing, dance and share memorable poems and other spoken-word materials followed by a solo musical performance by Sharon Jones, Community Colleges of Spokane community and equity relations coordinator and also SFCC’s gospel music instructor
