Meet your Neighbor: Jeanne Morss

Carl Gidlund correspondent

Name: Jeanne Morss

Age: 49

Hometown: I was born in Fargo, N.D., and raised in Great Falls. We moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1992.

Occupation: My husband, Tony, is a home builder, and I work with him. I do interior design work, keep the books and lay tile.

Family: Our children, Corey, 20, and Chelsey, 22, are students at the University of Idaho.

Hobbies: I play piano, sew, hike, and am a downhill and cross country skier.

What do you like about North Idaho? It’s beautiful. We enjoy Lake Coeur d’Alene and our beautiful summers. Lots of great people live here, and it’s a terrific place to raise kids.

What do you like or dislike about the current season? We’re having too much rain. I’d like it to be colder.

Favorite music: Gospel

Favorite TV show: “Grey’s Anatomy”

Favorite movie: Two of them, “The Hiding Place” and “Brian’s Song.”

Favorite spot in North Idaho? Why? We love to hike around Lookout Pass. It’s a good area for huckleberries, not many people go there, and I really enjoy swimming in St. Regis Lake.
