Wallace loses to Lake City JV

Jordan Beehner scored 15 points and Nick Arthun 12 for Wallace, but their game-leading figures weren’t enough to keep the Miners (10-10) from dropping a 55-48 non-league boys basketball decision to the Lake City junior varsity in Coeur d’Alene on Monday night.

Lake City got scoring from 10 players and its reserves outscored the Wallace reserves 23-5. Jesse Cornelius led LCJV with eight points and added seven rebounds. Kyle Yetter also had seven boards.

Beehner added six rebounds and three assists for Wallace.

Track

A high school track rules clinic for North Idaho coaches and officials will be held Feb. 20 in the Post Falls High School library.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
