Liberty Lake police blotter
Liberty Lake police reports for the week of Feb. 5 included the following:
Richard Jay Blanchette, 50, of Spokane, was cited Feb. 6 for allegedly driving while under the influence on Harvard Road. Police said they also found less than 40 grams of marijuana and some drug paraphernalia during the investigation. Misdemeanor charges were issued for both. Two hours later, at the Spokane County Jail, officers charged Blanchette with allegedly assaulting a police officer, a class C felony.
Shannon Kae Dunham, 34, of Spokane Valley, was cited Feb. 9 for allegedly driving while under the influence and without a valid license on Harvard Road.
William Robert Davies, 63, Liberty Lake, was arrested Feb. 10 for allegedly driving while under the influence on Country Vista Road.
Brittany R. Snodgrass, 20, Spokane Valley, was cited for malicious mischief Feb. 11 for allegedly causing more than $250 of property damage, a class C felony.
Gerald Eugene Smith, 20, Greenacres, was cited Feb. 11 for driving with an invalidated license and driving a car that didn’t have an interlock device for determining whether the driver has been consuming alcohol.
According to police reports, Harvard Road was the most likely place to be pulled over. Country Vista Road was second.
Driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs was the most frequently reported crime.
