Neighborhood Updates
The Spokane County Sherriff’s Office will soon host its second annual Neighborhood Watch Crime Prevention Conference. The conference is aimed at educating the community and businesses of the region. Various topics include Internet safety, gangs, traffic related training and home security. It will be 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., March 6-7 at CenterPlace, Mirabeau Point Park, 2426 N. Discovery Place. • The Chief Garry Park Neighborhood Council will meet today at 7 p.m. at Stevens Elementary School, 1717 E. Sinto Ave.

• The Greater Morgan Acres Neighborhood Association will meet today at 6:30 p.m. at Fire Station 98, 6606 N. Regal St.
• The Building Stronger Neighborhoods Committee will meet Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Frontier West restaurant, 2121 N. Division St.
• The Community Assembly Administrative Committee will meet Tuesday at 4 p.m. at City Hall, Sixth Floor Conference Room, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.
• The Logan Neighborhood Council will meet Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Fourth Memorial Church, 2000 N. Standard St.
• The Community Assembly/City Council Committee on Neighborhoods will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Spokane City Hall, City Council Briefing Center, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.
• The Bemiss Neighborhood Council will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Northeast Community Center, 4001 N. Cook St.
• The Hillyard Neighborhood Council will meet Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Northeast Community Center, 4001 N. Cook St.
