Lynch completely vindicated
I am an old friend and former Montana corrections system colleague of Jack Lynch. I have read the 16 pages of documents wisely released today by Jack. It is terrifying that a proven, dedicated public employee and his family, as well as our city and its reputation, can be so ravaged by totally unsubstantiated conjecture fueled primarily, it seems, by chatter among police officers titillated at the prospect of having possibly stopped the deputy mayor in seemingly questionable circumstances.
What I know of Jack is that he has been extraordinarily successful by being committed to protection of the community, fairness and justice for offenders, and above all, energetic support of his employees and colleagues. I applaud Judge Moreno for ruling that the vague allegations appear to be totally unfounded and objectionable on their face. I pray for peace and health for Jack and his family and that none of us is ever subjected to this type of unjustified scrutiny.
