Woman killed in crash on Highway 195

A Spokane woman was killed Thursday night in a wreck on Highway 195 near Spangle.

Sylvia U. Bodolay, 56, was driving north on Highway 195 at 8:25 p.m. when her Ford Focus crossed the center line and hit an oncoming semi truck trailer, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Bodolay was airlifted to Sacred Heart Medical Center but died from her injuries.

The driver of the truck, Ray L. Skipper, 45, was not injured. Bodolay’s passenger, Wendy A. Estes-Zumpf, 31, was taken to Sacred Heart, where she was treated and released.
