Poonsa

Kim Lytle Correspondent The Spokesman-Review

This very nice girl has called Spokane Humane Society her home for nearly two years.

Her polite, quiet demeanor in the kennel might have contributed to her being overlooked for so long.

Poonsa had a bad hip and maybe people were afraid of her medical costs, but thanks to volunteer contributions, Poonsa has had surgery and is starting to feel like new.

Poonsa has been temperament tested and was found to be a Level 1 dog, which is a great dog even for first-time owners.

She is gentle enough for most children, is not interested in cats, and is good with most dogs. She seems to prefer to hang out with dogs smaller than herself.

Poonsa would do best in a home with people willing to put effort into her continued physical therapy until her hip is fully healed.

If you have room in your home and heart for a great dog that needs a little help on her road to recovery, come and meet Poonsa at the Spokane Humane Society, 6607 N Havana St.

The telephone number is 467-5235.

Adoption fees are $95 and include spay, rabies vaccine, microchip and veterinary exam.

License is extra.
