The goal of Somebody Needs You is to match donors with the specific requests of needy Spokane residents.

The list of requests is coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with recognized social service agencies in Spokane. If you have an item to donate, please call the social service agency directly.

Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated.

If someone you know needs help, contact a local social service agency provider.

•Young single mother with newborn needs a queen bed, dresser and a couch. Call Kim at Partners with Families and Children, 473-4838.

•Low-income disabled man needs a washer. Call Susan at ALTCEW, 458-2509.

•Single mother needs reliable, safe and working vehicle.

• Single father with three children needs a reliable, safe and working vehicle. Call April at Empowering Inc., 768-2727.

•Teen boys in foster care want music lessons. Call Raquel at Empowering Inc., 768-5886.

•Low-income family with three children needs a crib, beds and lamps. Call Belle at American Indian Community Center, 535-0886.
