OUTSMART
Learn about snow before you go
Snowmobilers, skiers, and snowshoers heading into the winter backcountry should check out the excellent Web site created by our Canadian neighbors to deliver critical avalanche safety information, including online avalanche “first response” training.
Although not a substitute for field courses, the info is up-to-date, interactive and entertaining.
Share it with someone you want to see coming home alive.
Check it out: www.adventuresmart.ca/avalanche.php.
