Area roundup: Vandals land pair of juco players

A pair of California junior college football players have committed to the Idaho Vandals and new head coach Robb Akey.

Marcus Pedro is a 6-foot-1, 270-pound defensive end out of Fullerton College and Corey Rhoane (6-4, 215) is a receiver out of Cerritos College.

“Pedro comes in with the ability to compete for a position on the defensive front and (Corey) is a big, tall, physical target who may help improve our team speed.”
