Man arrested in shooting
A 25-year-old Warden man was arrested Thursday on a count of first-degree murder for the Jan. 2 shooting death of Frankie Corral.
Christian A. Gonzales-Ramirez was taken into custody after he left his home at 13th Avenue and County Road in Warden, said Grant County Sheriff’s Office spokesman John Turley. His bail was set at $1 million.
Corral, 25, of Othello, Wash., was found face down Jan. 2 on a dirt driveway near a duplex just outside Moses Lake. He died of an apparent gunshot wound, Turley said.
A 20-year-old man, who has not been identified, was also found shot outside the duplex. He was taken to the hospital. His condition was unavailable.
