Non-league

Lewiston’s Kiki Edwards-Teasley demonstrated just how calm she is under pressure. Edwards-Teasley scored 14 points and hit two free throws with 9.1 seconds left in overtime Friday to give the host Bengals a 47-46 win over Clarkston at Lewis-Clark State College. Brittany Devorak scored 18 points, including five 3-pointers, for Lewiston (8-6). Kellie McCann-Smith and Michelle Malcom scored 12 points apiece to lead the Bantams (7-3).

GSL gymnastics

Tabatha Ward finished first in the all-around and vault competitions, helping University (163.475 points) take first place in a four-way Greater Spokane League meet at U-Hi. The Titnas won the floor exercise by more than five points. Shadle Park finished second, Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls) placed third and Lewis and Clark fourth. Shadle Park’s Mellissa Edmunds won the balance beam and finished second in the all-around.
