Teen board seeks members

Spokane-area teenagers have a chance to have a say in what happens at the Spokane County Interstate Fair as members of the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center Junior Advisory Board.

Applications for board membership are being accepted from students at Davenport, Deer Park, East Valley, Ferris, Freeman, Lewis and Clark, Liberty, North Central, Reardan, Riverside, Shadle Park, Sprague and St. George’s high schools.

Selected students’ terms would end Sept. 30, with an optional one-year renewal for those selected as freshmen, sophomores or juniors. The board holds a meeting on the second Thursday of every month at 6 p.m.
