TOP 25: Arizona regains form with win over ASU
Freshman Chase Budinger had 21 points and 10 rebounds, and No. 17 Arizona snapped a three-game losing streak with a 71-47 victory over Arizona State on Wednesday night in Tucson, Ariz.
In a tune-up for Saturday’s game against fourth-ranked North Carolina, Arizona (14-5, 5-4 Pac-10) beat its in-state rival for the 11th straight time. Jawann McClellan added 14 points for the Wildcats.
Christian Polk scored 11 points for the Sun Devils (6-14, 0-9).
Marcus Williams, Arizona’s leading scorer, was benched for the game for a violation of team rules but will play Saturday.
(1) Florida 70, Mississippi 67: At Starkville, Miss., Corey Brewer scored 20 points and the Gators (18-2, 5-0) survived a scary Southeastern Conference road game by beating the Bulldogs (11-7, 2-3).
(2) Wisconsin 71, Michigan 58: At Madison, Wis., Brian Butch and Alando Tucker scored 16 points each and the Badgers (20-1, 6-0 Big Ten) beat the Wolverines (16-5, 4-2).
(4) North Carolina 88, Wake Forest 60: At Winston-Salem, N.C., Wayne Ellington scored 18 points and Ty Lawson added 15 to lead the Tar Heels (18-2, 5-1 ACC) past the Demon Deacons (9-10, 1-6).
(5) Ohio State 59, Northwestern 50: At Evanston, Ill., freshman Greg Oden had 17 points and 17 rebounds, and the Buckeyes (17-3, 5-1 Big Ten) beat the Wildcats (11-9, 1-6).
Texas Tech 70, (6) Texas A&M 68: At Lubbock, Texas, Martin Zeno sank a free throw with 24.9 seconds remaining to lift the Red Raiders (15-5, 4-1 Big 12) past the Aggies (16-3, 4-1), giving Tech its second straight win over a Top 10 team.
(8) Kansas 82, Baylor 56: At Waco, Texas, Brandon Rush scored 18 points and the Jayhawks (17-3, 4-1 Big 12) cruised past the Bears (11-8, 1-5).
(9) Pittsburgh 67, Cincinnati 51: At Cincinnati, Levance Fields made a career-high six 3-pointers, leading a long-range spree that carried the Panthers (18-3, 6-1 Big East ) to a victory over the Bearcats (10-9, 1-4).
(11) Memphis 72, Tulsa 59: At Memphis, Tenn., Joey Dorsey scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Tigers (16-3, 6-0 Conference USA) to a victory over the Golden Hurricane (12-6, 2-3).
(15) Marquette 89, Seton Hall 76: At Milwaukee, sophomores Wesley Matthews and Jerel McNeal scored 22 points apiece and the Golden Eagles (18-4, 5-2 Big East) had little trouble beating the Pirates (11-8, 3-4).
Vanderbilt 64, (21) LSU 53: At Baton Rouge, La., Derrick Byars scored 18 points to give the Commodores (14-6, 4-2 SEC) their third straight victory over a ranked team with a triumph over the Tigers (13-6, 2-3).

(6) Oklahoma 69, Iowa State 49: At Norman, Okla., Chelsi Welch scored 13 points, Leah Rush added 12 and the Sooners (17-1, 7-0 Big 12) easily beat the Cyclones (15-5, 3-4).
(7) Connecticut 88, DePaul 76: At Storrs, Conn., Kalana Greene scored 25 points to keep the Huskies (17-2, 7-0) undefeated in the Big East with a win over the Blue Demons (13-7, 3-4).

(16) Bowling Green 90, Western Michigan 62: At Kalamazoo, Mich., Ali Mann scored 21 points, leading the Falcons (17-2, 7-0 Mid-American) to a victory over the Broncos (8-13, 1-6).
(18) Louisville 72, Pittsburgh 59: At Louisville, Ky., Angel McCoughtry had 18 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Cardinals (19-2, 5-2 Big East) to a win over the Panthers (15-4, 3-3).
