Nick Fromm scored 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead Lake City to a 53-35 Inland Empire League boys basketball victory at Sandpoint on Monday night in the Timberwolves’ third road game in four days.
The game was originally scheduled for tonight, but the change gives Lake City (12-5, 6-3 IEL) an extra day of rest before entertaining rival Coeur d’Alene (7-1 IEL) on Thursday.
Mat Lawrence led Sandpoint (7-11, 2-8) with 12 points.
Girls basketball

It was the first time an NIC wrestler has defeated Spangler, who beat Palaniuk 5-1 earlier.
