Reds 8, Diamondbacks 1: At Cincinnati, Ken Griffey Jr., Adam Dunn and Brandon Phillips homered and Kyle Lohse pitched a four-hitter as the Reds beat Arizona. Lohse had five strikeouts and two walks.

Brewers 6, Nationals 2: At Washington, Ryan Braun homered twice, Dave Bush took a shutout into the seventh inning and Milwaukee beat the Nationals. Braun hit a solo shot and Kevin Mench a three-run drive in a four-run first inning.

Pirates 8, Cubs 4: At Pittsburgh, Xavier Nady homered and drove in three runs to support Paul Maholm’s pitching and hitting, and the Pirates cooled off Chicago.

Astros 4, Mets 0: At Houston, Wandy Rodriguez threw a four-hitter for his first complete game and Lance Berkman had a two-run homer to lead the Astros over New York.

Giants 4, Cardinals 3: At St. Louis, Barry Bonds grounded out, drew three walks and watched his teammates produce in San Francisco’s victory over the Cardinals.

Braves 7, Padres 4: At San Diego, Andruw Jones hit a homer and had three RBIs, and Buddy Carlyle pitched eight strong innings against his former team as Atlanta beat the Padres.

Rockies 7, Phillies 6 (11): At Denver, Yorvit Torrealba’s two-out single off J.D. Durbin in the 11th inning drove home Garrett Atkins from second base, lifting Colorado to a win over Philadelphia.

Marlins 6, Dodgers 5 (10): At Los Angeles, Hanley Ramirez hit a pair of solo homers and drove in the go-ahead run with a bunt single in the 10th inning, leading Florida over the Dodgers.
