The city of Coeur d’Alene’s Specialized Needs Recreation program has received a $2,500 grant from the Idaho Community Foundation.

The funds will be used to pay fees and transportation costs of the SNR’s Camp Allstars day camp program, which serves more than 180 area children with disabilities.

The Camp Allstars program provides positive emphasis on a child’s abilities and builds confidence through crafts, swimming, sports, boating, fishing, camping, hiking and cooking with others in a nonthreatening environment.
