Seventh Annual Huckleberry’s/KREM TV Donation Drive for Goodwill– Volunteers are needed to assist donors with their items and clothing between 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Friday and next Saturday at Huckleberry’s Market, 926 S. Monroe St. Volunteers are requested to make a commitment of at least three hours. Contact Nichole Bogarosh at 344-1061.

Spokane Public Schools Ready*Corps – Serve the Spokane community and Spokane Public Schools by becoming an AmeriCorps/VISTA volunteer. Members receive an $850 monthly stipend for their service. The commitment is for one year. A $4,725 education award or $1,200 cash are awarded at the end of service. Candidates must be 18 years of age. Contact Bill Skaer at 354-7327.

Southside Senior Activity Center – A volunteer is needed to create the center’s monthly newsletter. The newsletter is 16-24 pages. This opportunity will include layout of the newsletter, possibly writing articles and placement of advertisements. Training will be provided. Contact Colleen Messling at 535-0803.
