Liberty lake police blotter
Liberty Lake police arrested a wanted man, issued 13 traffic citations and handled a total of 21 incidents in the last week.
About 11:30 a.m. Friday, an officer apprehended Timothy Moreau, 35, of Spokane Valley, in the 2300 block of north Madsen Road, according to reports from the department.
Moreau is suspected of being a fugitive, which is a class B felony in Washington.
According to newspaper reports, Moreau was sentenced in 2005 to nine months in jail after pleading guilty to second-degree escape.
Between July 9 and Monday, Liberty Lake police investigated reports of credit-card fraud, harassment and malicious mischief as well as two traffic accidents.
There also were two reports of theft.
Tickets were issued for improper lane usage, speeding, failure to wear a seat belt, illegal use of studded tires and failure to obey a traffic control.
