Marlins 10, Reds 2: At Miami, Scott Olsen won in his first start after a two-game suspension for insubordination, helping Florida beat Cincinnati.

Rockies 3, Nationals 1: At Washington, Aaron Cook had a career-high eight strikeouts in seven shutout innings, and Colorado beat the Nationals.

Astros 2, Pirates 1: At Pittsburgh, Carlos Lee’s two-run homer in the first inning helped Roy Oswalt bounce back from the worst start of his career, and Houston beat the Pirates.

Cardinals 4, Braves 2: At Atlanta, Juan Encarnacion drove in the go-ahead run in the eighth and added a sacrifice fly in the ninth to back seven strong innings from Adam Wainwright as St. Louis defeated the Braves.

Giants 8, Brewers 4: At Milwaukee, Guillermo Rodriguez hit a go-ahead, two-run single in the seventh for San Francisco, which rallied to win for only the second time in nine games.

Mets 4, Dodgers 1: At Los Angeles, Jose Reyes scored the tiebreaking run in the eighth inning on a throwing error by reliever Roberto Hernandez and New York beat the Dodgers.

Phillies 7, Padres 3: At San Diego, Adam Eaton shook off a collision with an umpire, hit an RBI single and beat his old team, pitching Philadelphia to a win.
