PICC line delivers antibiotics
A device used to deliver powerful antibiotics to very ill patients is called a PICC line, a peripherally inserted central venous catheter. Also, there are about 45,000 deaths each year in Washington state. A story in Sunday’s paper contained errors related to these facts.
Two players omitted
Outfielder Kevin Mahar and pitcher Josh Rupe are among Spokane Indians players who have made it to the Texas Rangers. Their names were omitted from a story in Sunday’s paper.
