A T. rex Named Sue - Tells the story of the largest, most complete, and best preserved T. rex fossil yet discovered. The exhibition features a fully articulated, life-sized cast of The Field Museum’s star dinosaur. Visitors of all ages will marvel at Sue’s size and ferocity while learning about her scientific importance through engaging interactives. This exhibition was created by The Field Museum in Chicago, and made possible through the generosity of McDonald’s Corporation. Exhibit hours are Tuesdays -Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m., closed Mondays. Pedals2People – Children’s bicycle donations are currently needed for youth in the community. Pedals2People, a local nonprofit organization, has successfully rehabilitated and given away more than 85 bicycles in the community so far this summer. There is still a list of more than 30 area youth in need of bicycles. The age range is from 3-15 years old. Pedals2People will come and pick up the bicycles from you or you may drop them off. Route of the Hiawatha - The “crown jewel” of rail-to-trail mountain bicycle trails is operated by Lookout Pass Ski Area. Wind through 10 tunnels and seven high trestles. This 15-mile route crosses the Bitterroot Mountains between Idaho and Montana, best known for the long St. Paul Pass or “Taft” Tunnel which is 1.66 miles in length. It’s all downhill with shuttle buses available to take you and your bike back to the top. Open daily through Oct. 7. 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m., Adjacent to I-90 at the Idaho/Montana state line, 12 miles east of Wallace, Idaho.

This 15-mile route crosses the Bitterroot Mountains between Idaho and Montana, best known for the long St. Paul Pass or “Taft” Tunnel which is 1.66 miles in length. It’s all downhill with shuttle buses available to take you and your bike back to the top. The exhibition features a fully articulated, life-sized cast of The Field Museum’s star dinosaur.
