RATHDRUM – The Rathdrum Days Parade delighted crowds of onlookers as more than 50 entries paraded down Main Street. Some old favorites and lots of new entries brought smiles to the faces of old and young alike as homemade floats, antique cars and even a few horses passed by.

Winners included:

Marching Unit: First, Veterans of Foreign Wars; second, Kootenai Country Republican Central Committee; third, Cub Scouts Pack 216.

Motorized: First, Generations Assisted Living & Wellness; second, Back Country ATV Association; third, Stomp out MS.

Individual: First, Grand Marshal Vic Holmes; second, Mayor Brian Steele.

Commercial: First, McDonald’s of Rathdrum; second, Washington Trust Bank; third, Panhandle State Bank.

Youth: First, Nighthawks Soccer; second, Susie’s Tap and Jazz; third, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints/Cub Scout Troop 229.

Antique: First, Pete Stohl; second, Old Surveyors Pickup; third, Spokane Valley Eagles.

Nonprofit: Calem Shriners.

Mounted: Country Girls.

Best Use of Theme: McDonald’s of Rathdrum.
