Inland Imaging to add two centers

A Spokane-based company that operates medical imaging centers is opening two new locations – including a Deer Park center and a large facility in Gilbert, Ariz.

Inland Imaging will open a 3,500-square foot facility offering magnetic resonance imaging and computerized tomography services and procedures in Deer Park.

Inland Imaging currently operates four imaging centers and two vascular units in the Spokane area. The company has also expanded into other cities with the opening of Seattle facility and the upcoming opening of a 10,900-square foot location in Gilbert, Ariz.

Jason Miller, a marketing specialist for Inland Imaging, said construction is underway in Deer Park and the center at 702 S. Park Street should open this fall.

The imaging operation is being built at the request of physicians working in north Spokane County, Miller said. The doctors routinely refer patients to the facility attached to Holy Family Hospital and want a location that offers greater convenience.

In 2005, Inland Imaging opened its first clinic outside the greater Spokane area, in partnership with Pacific Medical Center at Beacon Hill. The Arizona center is a collaborative effort with the new Banner-Gateway Hospital, he said.

Company representatives are currently looking possibilities for expanding services both inside and outside the greater Spokane area, Miller said, adding, “We’re doing a lot of assessment right now.”

The company has about 500 employees, including 76 doctors who share ownership of the business with a handful of business people, Miller said.

Inland Imaging provides services to Sacred Heart Medical Center and Holy Family Hospital and 12 rural hospitals in Eastern Washington and northern Idaho.
