Outside of Galaxy Grind at Pines Road and 16th Avenue, four persons and a dog were asked: What are your plans for summer vacation?

Ruthann Miller: “We’re spending a week on the Oregon coast. We’re having a big family reunion before the kids move out of the house. We’re preparing for an empty nest.”

Janel Behler: “I’ll be going to Denver to visit my son. He just got out of the army; he finally escaped the stupid war. I’m working too.”

Steven Brashears: “I’ll bike ride the Hiawatha Trail and the Superfund Trail in Harrison, Idaho. I’ll go to as many summer concerts at Arbor Crest Winery as I can and take trips to the family compound at Friday Harbor.”

Paul Duddy: “I’ll be going to Riverview Bible Camp where we’ll swim, play games, and have fun. I’ll kayak on Clark Fork River in Montana and go to Silverwood. It’s all fun when there’s no school.”

Jack Miller: “I’ll be playing lots of Frisbee and taking lots of rides in the Fiat with the top down. I’ll also get into a little mischief.”
