Girls Scouts receive grants
The Girls Scouts of Eastern Washington and North Idaho have received two grants to purchase state-of-the-art emergency medical equipment for their program center at 1404 N. Ash St. and their resident camp, Camp Four Echoes, at Lake Coeur d’Alene.
The funds from Avista Foundation and Rotary Club 21 will provide for two automated external defibrillators. The Girl Scouts are currently looking for funding to provide new CPR training mannequins and other equipment.
