The goal of “Somebody Needs You” is to match donors with the specific requests of needy Spokane residents.

The list of requests is coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with recognized social service agencies in Spokane.

If you have an item to donate, please contact the social service agency directly. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated. If someone you know needs help, contact a local social service agency provider.

Single pregnant mom needs furniture, bedding, bed, household items, household supplies, baby necessities, TV set and radio. Contact Marilyn at Volunteers of America’s Crosswalk, 838-6596.

Single mom needs daybed, bunk bed, queen bed and two twin beds. Contact: Rasalie at Central Valley Even Start, 228-5822.

Disabled senior citizen needs a double bed. Contact Marian at Family Service Spokane, 838-4128.

Single mom needs a sofa, entertainment center, queen bed, queen sheets, lamps and pots and pans. Contact: Teddi at Even Start Barker High School, 228-4071.

Disabled male needs TV trays and coffee table. Contact Joanne at Catholic Charities, 327-6368.

Single mom with four children needs washer and dryer. Contact Dina at VBCH, 535-3155.

Family needs a sofa, dining table with chairs, queen bed and washer. Contact Wendi at CORD, 326-6355, ext. 114.
