In brief: CV plans all-year alumni picnic

The Spokesman-Review

More than 10,000 past students of Central Valley High School are invited to the first all-class/year alumni picnic 2:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 19 at Mirabeau Point Park in Spokane Valley.

All alumni, including their family and friends are welcome. Picnic lunches will be available for advance purchase or Bears can bring their own picnic baskets.

Central Valley High School opened in 1927 on Appleway at the present site of Greenacres Middle School and was moved to its current location on Sullivan Road in 1956 and was rebuilt in 2002.

“We know that if you were once a Bear, you are always a Bear. Our hope is to gather as many Bears as possible and have a great time together,” said Dave Graham, CV Activities Foundation spokesman.

For more information, to donate or to volunteer contact the Web site at www.centralvalley alumni.org. For specific information e-mail alumnimail @alumniproject.org or write to: CV Alumni Picnic, 508 Shoreline Drive, Liberty Lake, WA 99019.
