Ducks and Donuts

After a few years off, the Ducks and Donuts program is back at Manito Park on Sundays from 6 to 8 p.m. It will be held this Sunday and July 15 and 22.

High school-age Lutherans from Eastern Washington and North Idaho will gather for a barbecue, games and devotions.

This Sunday’s game will be whipped-cream baseball. According to Shannon Borgman of Zion Lutheran Church, the game is much like T-ball but is played with a whiffle ball full of whipped cream.

It’s messy.

The devotional will be about being in God’s game.

The July 15 game will be a scavenger hunt for ducks; the July 22 game will be capture the flag.

For more information, call Borgman at 926-5407 or Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at 926-7966.
