Toutle Lake 53, North Beach 39

The Ducks scored the first 12 points of the second half and cruised past North Beach (19-8) in consolation action.

Senior guard Lindsay Scheffler scored a game-high 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting to lead Toutle Lake (17-9).

The Ducks nearly held the Hyaks scoreless in the third quarter, allowing a single 3-pointer late in the quarter to cut the deficit to nine heading into the fourth.

Junior Lacey Hoffmann added 13 points and seven rebounds and junior Denali Preston dished out a game-high six assists for Toutle Lake (17-9).

Senior Nicole Duncan scored a game-high 21 points and grabbed six rebounds as DeSales routed Bear Creek School in a consolation game.

Duncan shot 7 of 14 from the field, including 5 of 9 from beyond the arc.

Junior Ashley Hamada added nine points and a game-high four assists for the Irish (24-2), who outscored the Grizzlies 29-17 in the second half.

Senior Jamie Perry tallied a team-high 18 points and junior Kimi Pohlman collected a game-high 17 rebounds for Bear Creek School (16-11).

Liberty was eliminated from the tournament after falling to Shoreline Christian.

Down 16 at halftime, the Lancers (24-4) made a comeback effort, at one point cutting the lead to 52-49 with 48 seconds remaining.

Senior Julia DeKoekkoek scored a team-high 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds and senior Colleen Woods added 17 points to lead the Crusaders (22-3).

Liberty senior guard Shawn Hennessey finished with 21 points on 7-of-15 shooting, including 4 of 8 from beyond the arc. Senior Caitlin Jeske added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Lancers, who held a 45-33 edge in rebounds.

Down 32-20 entering the fourth quarter, the Mountain Lions clawed back and beat King’s West (18-9) on a layin by freshman Shelby Scott as time expired in a consolation game.

Scott finished with a team-high 11 points and Korrie Bourn, Kelli Campbell and Jillian Layfield each added eight for Liberty Bell (18-8).

Chloe Mosey tallied a game-high 20 points on 7-of-13 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Warriors.

Evergreen Lutheran erased a 5-point halftime deficit in a big way in a quarterfinal with Reardan. The Eagles exploded for 46 points in the second half, holding the Indians to 21.

Cory Warner paced Evergreen (24-2) with 15 points and five assists, shooting 3 for 7 from 3-point range. Senior Erika Laete pulled down 14 boards.

Jen Christerson led the Indians (19-10) with 14 points and six steals and Ashtin Jeney added 12 points.

A day after scoring 22 points, Jasmine Stohr again led La Salle with 20 points in a quarterfinal game against Napavine. The junior was 9 of 12 from the line and swiped three steals.

La Salle led 32-30 after three quarters before shutting down the Tigers and mounting a 15-point lead.

Molly McGree posted a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds for La Salle.

The game was won at the line for the Lightning (22-2), who went 20 for 34 as opposed to 8 of 17 for Napavine (23-1).

Alicia Richardson paced the Tigers with 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field.

Two free throws by Laney Brown with 16 seconds left sealed a narrow victory for Waterville in a quarterfinal game with White Pass.

Waterville led 54-50 with 32 seconds to go when the Shockers missed two 3-point attempts. Brown came down with the second rebound and was fouled immediately.

At the other end, she made two of her 11 points to put the game away. Jacque Brown put in 23 points for Waterville (22-3) and Lauren Daling grabbed 17 rebounds.

For the Panthers (16-10), reserve Mikel Elliott scored 17 points and hit four 3-pointers.

After a game-high 18 points Wednesday night, Corina Allen stepped aside for Mossyrock teammates Tisa Pelletier and Lexi Belcher who scored a combined 39 points in a quarterfinal win over St. George’s.

Allen took four shots while Pelletier made 9 of 15 for 20 points and Belcher downed 7 of 14 for 19 points.

The Vikings (22-2) jumped out to a 36-15 lead after the first half by holding the Dragons (19-11) to 16 percent shooting.

Madison Clark led the way for St. George’s with 15 points and four 3-pointers.
