My favorite car: 2002 Ford Thunderbird

Purchased: May 15, 2004.

Why I love it: My husband, Dan, bought it for my 57th birthday. It was our first purchase off eBay. We both had wanted this “retro style” T-Bird since my husband saw it as a prototype in a car magazine in 2000. Ford only manufactured this body style from 2002 through 2005. This car is just for us! Our grandkids must ride in our other car, a four-door Olds. This picture was taken on a beautiful fall day last year at the top of Thompson Pass, Mont.

My next car will be: Maybe I’ll return the favor and buy, for my husband’s b-day, that “muscle truck” he’s always wanted!
