Moscow boys finish third
CALDWELL, Idaho – Paul Wimer had game highs of 18 points and 15 rebounds Saturday to power the Moscow Bears to a 45-35 victory over the Bishop Kelly Knights and a third-place finish at the boys State 4A basketball tournament at Albertson College.
Shane Miller added 15 points and eight rebounds for the Bears (17-8).
Ryan Bokan topped Bishop Kelly (20-6) with 11 points.
Moscow trailed 29-28 entering the fourth quarter.
The Bears had a commanding 38-28 advantage on the boards.
The Bears made just 13 of 45 attempts (28.9 percent) from the floor, while the Knights hit 14 of 49 (28.6 percent).
