Five people at Colbert Presbyterian Church were asked the following question: Due to the recent redistricting of Mead elementary schools, will your children be attending a different school in the fall, and are you satisfied with the plan?

Leesa Birdsall – Yes, my family is affected. I know it has to be done, even though it is an inconvenience.

Rob Scott – We are not affected this time. It seems to have complicated the lives of some people, though.

Jen Howland – No, my children won’t be moving. I believe in the district and think they are doing the right thing. I really believe they know what they are doing.

Kirk Anders – Yes, my kids will be affected. It seems like a reasonable plan. With new construction, the population needs to be redistributed.

Carolyn Lineback – No, my children are not moving. The district’s plan seems to affect our school the least.
