Riverfront Park Carrousel - The Looff Carrousel is open daily from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Created in 1909 by Charles Looff, Spokane’s famous Carrousel is a National Historical Landmark and listed on the National Historical Registry. The Carrousel includes 54 carved horses, one giraffe, one tiger and two Chinese dragon chairs. Runs through Oct. 1. Riverfront Park. $2/adults, $1/seniors/children age 12 and under. (509) 625-6600.
Riverfront Park Pavilion Attractions - The Looff Carrousel and Spokane Falls Skyride operate daily, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Hours will be extended later in the season. Runs through Sept. 3. Riverfront Park. 29th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade - Spokane - Presented by the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick and Second Harvest food bank. Second Harvest volunteers will be on hand both in the parade staging area and along the parade route to collect food and monetary donations.
