Spring Fling Saturday at SJV

St. John Vianney Parish will hold a fun run, carnival, dinner and dancing at its Spring Fling this Saturday at 501 N. Walnut Road in Spokane Valley.

The 1 1/2-mile run starts at 2 p.m. and is open to everyone. The carnival takes place from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., and dinner starts at 6.

Irish stew will be served, and entertainment includes Irish dancers, the SJV choir, an SJV fiddling family and dancing to the sounds of the Chill Cats.

The cost is $7 for adults, $5 for children under 12 or $30 per family.

Baby-sitting for $5 is available in the SJV library, courtesy of the parish eighth graders.
