Spokane Valley Community Center and Food Bank – Volunteers are needed to greet and check-in patrons at the Clothing Bank on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. -3 p.m. Some computer skills are helpful but not required. Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest – Volunteers are needed for the Mentoring Children of Promise program which helps to empower children and youth of incarcerated parents in eastern Washington. Volunteers/mentors must commit to supporting, guiding, and being a friend to a young person for a period of at least one year. Consumer Credit Counseling Service – Volunteers are needed to assist consumers experiencing financial hardship. This is a part-time position, no more than 20 hours per week are needed.
