Arena Family will perform at Crosswind
Crosswind Church of the Assemblies of God, 17302 N. Newport Highway, will present the Arena Family in concert Sunday at 10:45 a.m.
The family – Frank, Kelly and Patty – has traveled the West Coast for the past 28 years sharing songs about Jesus Christ.

Christian Micro-Enterprise lecture
Whitworth College will present “Christian Micro-Enterprise: The New Model for Aid in Developing Countries – A Philippine Perspective” today at 7:30 p.m. in the Robinson Teaching Theater of Weyerhaeuser Hall on the Whitworth campus, 300 W. Hawthorne Road.
The event, part of the school’s Great Decisions Lecture Series, features Ruth Callanta, founder of the Center for Community Transformation. The center is a Christian development organization that serves the poor.

The ecumenical service will include prayers that are sung, and meditation.

Spokane Christian Singles will offer speed-dating Saturday at 7 p.m. for singles in their 20s, 30s and 40s and Sunday at 4 p.m. for singles older than 45.
