Eric Hendricks’ two-out, three-run double capped a six-run seventh inning Thursday as Shadle Park rallied for a 6-5 win over visiting University in the Greater Spokane League.

The Titans’ Dan Jordan pitched six shutout innings before the Highlanders began their comeback. Dan Flores, who entered in the seventh, earned the win.

Both teams are 2-2. Shadle defeated U-Hi 5-4 in eight innings Wednesday after trailing 4-1 after four.

Also in the GSL, Brandon Hare’s three-run homer highlighted a five-run sixth as North Central (3-1) notched an 11-2 win over visiting Central Valley (2-2). Tim Lamanna earned the win with six innings of three-hit ball. For NC, Scott Simchuk went 3 for 3 with three runs, Evan Witt was 2 for 4 with two RBIs and Cory Swennumson went 2 for 4 with two RBIs. … Chris Allen pitched a five-hitter and Mead turned four double plays during a 9-2 win over visiting Lewis and Clark (1-3). Sean McNaghten went 2 for 3 with four RBIs for the Panthers, who tied idle Ferris for first place at 2-0. … Mark Purser pitched a three-hitter and drove in the go-ahead run as Mt. Spokane (3-1) recorded a 5-1 win at Gonzaga Prep (1-3). Kory Aspaas led off the Wildcats’ fifth with a single, moved to second on Bryan Raynor’s sacrifice and scored on Purser’s single to snap a 1-all tie. … A.J. Mills pitched a complete-game three-hitter, striking out seven, and Ryan Campbell singled in the winning run in the fifth as East Valley (2-2) posted a 3-2 win over visiting Rogers (0-4). EV led 2-0 after Skyler Schiller, Tanner Hamilton and Jeff Bitner had consecutive doubles in the first.

Softball

Hannah Krogseth had a two-out, two-run double to center on a 0-2 pitch in the seventh, and Danica Hanley singled home the winner in the eighth as East Valley (1-3) edged visiting Lewis and Clark 4-3 in the Greater Spokane League. EV’s Echo Abramson singled to lead off the eighth and scored the winning run. Taylor Bemis doubled twice and Kendall Pavey struck out seven for the Tigers (0-5). … Also in the league, Sam Skillingstad struck out 12 in a five-inning no-hitter and went 4 for 4 to guide Shadle Park (4-0) to a 10-0 win over visiting Ferris (0-5). Shadle’s Tressa Predisik went 3 for 3 with three runs…. Katie Kine went 2 for 3 with two runs and two RBIs to help Mead (4-1) to a 13-7 win at Mt. Spokane (3-2). … Mickenzie Alden hit a two-run homer during a 12-run fourth to help Central Valley (3-2) rally for a 17-9 win at Rogers. Jessica Fagan’s grand slam in the first led the Pirates (1-3) to a 6-1 edge. … Michelle Wells tripled and homered during an 11-run fifth as University (3-2) registered a five-inning, 14-3 win at Gonzaga Prep (2-2). U-Hi’s Dakota Schiermeister singled and homered in the fifth.

Boys soccer

Jaime Rebuelta scored during regulation and the shootout to help Riverside (4-1, 4-0) to a 2-1 win at Medical Lake in the Great Northern League. John Daniels scored at 43 minutes for the Cardinals (2-3, 1-3), whose fifth shot during the 4-3 shootout sailed wide. … Also in the GNL, Justin Hale scored to the far post at 51 minutes to give Cheney (6-0, 4-0) a 1-0 victory over visiting Pullman (3-1, 3-1). … Kirk Kireger blocked four shots in the shootout as Colville (2-4, 2-3) posted a 3-2 win over visiting Chewelah (1-4, 0-4). Colville’s Peter Mann-King tied the match at 2 at 46 minutes and also scored during the shootout. … Cody Payne had a goal and an assist during the first 16 minutes as West Valley (1-5, 1-2) recorded a 3-1 win over visiting Deer Park (2-3, 2-2).

College baseball

A.J. Proszek (3-0) pitched a complete game, striking out five and walking none, as Community Colleges of Spokane (9-6) posted its fifth consecutive win, an 11-5 non-conference decision at Everett (10-1). Chris Bozo had two doubles and three RBIs for the Sasquatch, and Cody Brubaker added two hits and three RBIs. … Yavapai defeated Big Bend 10-9 in a rain-shortened seven-inning game.
