Site puts the body on exhibit

Web: www.bodies theexhibition.com
Seattle will continue hosting the traveling exhibit “Bodies … The Exhibition” through April 29.
This interactive Web site can be a good place to get an overview of what’s there and learn how to find tickets before the exhibit leaves for its next stop, Las Vegas.
On display are actual dissected cadavers that were prepared in China, processed and then turned into an exhibit that provides close-ups of the human body as revealed without skin. A portion of the exhibit shows the effect of lung cancer on the body.
The Web site gives viewers a couple of videos that summarize the show’s highlights. Also available are teachers’ guides and related educational material.
43things.com
Started a few years ago in Seattle, 43things is one of those user-content-developed sites that are all the rage. This one is above average, however, among the vast and diverse group of people who are all describing different ways they’re trying to achieve their life goals — or, in this case, their 43 key things.
The main page shows the list of goals that are filling the minds of those using the site. Clicking the links sends you on the path of looking at the results different people have had, in losing weight, finding money, marrying the right person or whatever.
Light reading, but some of it really matters.
