Feature creature: Brittany

Brittany has been at the shelter since April 25 when she was picked up as a stray.

It looks like she has spent most of her adult life making babies for someone.

Brittany has been temperament-tested and found to be calm, quiet and somewhat independent. She is attentive when you have treats but is not particularly affectionate. Fortunately, she doesn’t show much interest in crawling into your lap. She walks pretty well on a leash, knows how to “sit” and got along with the dogs she was tested with.

If you have experience with the giant breeds and can offer this great girl a home where her primary jobs will be to keep your couch warm and let you know when someone is at your door, come meet Brittany at SpokAnimal C.A.R.E., 710 N. Napa St. or call 534-8133. SpokAnimal is open every day.

Adoption fees are $79.50 and include spaying, rabies vaccine, licensing and a microchip.
