Your Voice articles, features interesting

The Thursday Your Voice section is really a delight to read.

The new format featuring local correspondents and their interesting articles is excellent.

Cindy Hval does a great job with human-interest stories. I recognize some friends and acquaintances in her fine columns.

I enjoyed Juan Juan Moses’ article about Tom and Sue Millersmith opening their Hair Etc. beauty shop to competitors so they could continue their business (after a fire). That was typical of Tom and Sue. And to contradict Sue – no, not anyone would have done it.

I’m honored to call the Millersmiths friends. I have pictures of my grandson getting his first haircut from Tom.

Lisa Leinberger does a great job of proclaiming community news and announcing events in her “In Brief” column.

As always, Ruth McHaney Danner’s articles are interesting, and I enjoyed her article in the May 3 Your Voice on Pastor Terry Little.

Congratulations to editor Tad Brooks and the editorial staff for featuring local writers and neighborhood news in such a winsome way. It is a welcome addition.
