Essay, poster contest winners
It’s probably no surprise to hear that REALTORS® are experts on the value of housing in Spokane, but when it comes to understanding the value of a “home,” REALTORS® ask the real experts, the children.
Each year, third-graders in Spokane are invited to write about what they love about their home and draw a picture of their home. Teachers submit the essays and posters to a committee of REALTORS® for judging.
The 2007 Essay/poster contest committee is led by Glen Carey, of Woodard Properties. Each entry is priceless, which makes this so tough to choose a winner.
The REALTORS® always look forward to the Third Grade Essay and Poster Contest, which was won this year by Cooper Brown, whose teacher is Mrs. Willoughby at Mullen Road Elementary.
Second Place went to Tyler Wetzel, representing Evergreen Elementary and teacher, Mr. Elmore.
In Third Place was Hayden Kilgore, representing Hamblen Elementary and teacher, Mrs. Fielding. Earning Fourth Place was Madison Lingo, whose teacher is Mrs. Willoughby at Mullan Road Elementary
