More fans of the Prestas

My wife, Tudy, and I greatly enjoyed the “Good Neighbor” story about Pete and Cathy Presta in the May 17 Your Voice.

We would like to add our voices to the chorus. The Prestas have been our neighbors for more than 35 years, and we count our blessings every year. I am an enthusiastic but semi-incompetent do-it-yourselfer and have lost track of how many times Pete has bailed me out.

It may be something in the Prestas’ farm well water. Pete’s parents, Dominic and Amelia, and brother, Julius Presta, a highly respected, much-loved Valley educator who died six years ago, and all of the next generation were and are cut from the same cloth.
