Feature creature: Snowball

Jennifer Larue correspondent

Snowball was brought into SCRAPS with a big booboo on her back. She may have been bitten. The veterinarian who took care of her said she was a very good patient. Now she has stitches and is doing well.

Snowball is very loving, and it is hard to look away from her intense ice green eyes. She has a pink nose that looks nice with her white coat. Sweet and affectionate, Snowball would make a good lap cat. She is declawed so your furniture would be safe.

Anyone interested in adopting this cat or other animals can visit the SCRAPS shelter at 2521 N. Flora Road, call the shelter at 477-2532 or visit the Web at www.spokanecounty.org/animal. Cats cost $55.68 to adopt, which includes a license, neutering, vaccinations, a microchip implant and a trip to the veterinarian.
